POS Selection for 30,000 locations: C-CORE led the RFP initiative for a large international POS vendor selection, covering 4 continents for one of the largest restaurant chains in the world, utilizing our POS RAPID Project Toolkit for vendor evaluation and selection in less than 4 months, a project that had been stalled for several years.
Fresh Item Management: C-CORE led the largest FIM installation in North America to date, which consisted of scale upgrades, Shrink, Production Planning, and Suggested Ordering. C-CORE has also developed the logical integration points between FIM and CAO. With the limited Fresh vendors required to evaluate, our Fresh Item Management toolkit moves quickly from defining scope, objectives and priorities to pilot planning and project execution. Deployment included four regions, with multiple banners, processes and item files. Shrink decreased and sales increased in all fresh departments-a recipe for success!
POS installation beats the recession: C-CORE led the POS evaluation, and supported the pilot and deployment of a new POS for a large fashion retailer with an ambitious deadline prior to the holiday selling season to leverage the new Loyalty and Promotions software. Utilizing both the POS Selection and Deployment RAPID Project toolkits, the retailer made the deadline, just before the recession, enabling them to weather the storm better than many similar soft goods retailers.
IT Roadmap: C-CORE led the development of a multi-billion dollar retailer’s IT roadmap, covering all in scope facets of the company-Operations, Merchandising, Logistics, and Finance, utilizing the C-CORE Strategy and Roadmap Toolkit. Three years later, the work was validated by one of the leading IT analysts, commenting that they are ‘doing all the right things in the right order”.
Workforce Management Evaluation: C-CORE led the evaluation and selection of a workforce management vendor , to upgrade one banner and deploy as new technology to the rest of the company , in 90 days from project launch to vendor selection utilizing the WFM RAPID Project Toolkit. The company realized significant contributions to the bottom line through deployment.
POS Maintenance Evaluation: In 45 days, C-CORE delivered a comprehensive analysis and consolidation of store technology 3rd party vendor services, eliminated some ‘end of life’ equipment, and saved millions per year in maintenance costs for a large national retailer utilizing our Store Technology Maintenance and Support RAPID Project Toolkit.
Business Process Optimization: As part of a POS buy vs. build evaluation, C-CORE was asked to provide a comprehensive overview of business process optimization opportunities including customer interactions, signs, labels and promotions, and workforce management opportunities. Our recommendation presentation was requested by the CEO to be presented to his entire management team, resulting in renewed focus on ‘low hanging fruit’ and best practice focus.
